If you keep an eye on the Gumbo open-source site, you may have noticed that more Gumbo specifications have been posted. These include:
- Skinning/SkinnableComponent – A must read in order to grok the Gumbo skinning architecture at a high-level.
- TrackBase/Range – new baseclasses for several Gumbo components
- Gumbo Slider
- Updates to the Gumbo ScrollBar
Check them out, especially the Skinning spec.
Deepa, your blog posts are great to know when things have changed, but it may also be nice if the wiki pages on the opensource site could be timestamped?
Good point, I’ll email Matt Chotin this request.
Hi Greg,
I looked around and found some Confluence macros that can help but they don’t format the way I want. We’ll keep investigating this and see if we can work this into the system.
Matt
Ok cool Matt, that would really be helpful if you can get it working!
Also as an aside, check out this series I’m writing on recreating Ely’s List demo:
